The University of Southern Maine’s Catherine Cutler Institute seeks a Payroll and HR Associate. This is an opportunity to support a team of individuals who collaborate with partners throughout the nation and across the world to find sustainable practical solutions to critical societal issues.
The Payroll and HR Associate will be responsible for supporting payroll entries for Cutler Institute employees, students, and temporary employees. The is also responsible for assisting the Employee Relations Manager in HR processes and paperwork. This position entails working with personnel at various levels throughout the University, and sometimes requires communicating financially sensitive and employee related sensitive problems and or issues. In addition to strong organizational skills, this position requires the ability to set work priorities and participate as a member of an office team.
This is a full-time position with an annual salary up to $40,431 commensurate with experience and is located on our Portland Campus.
