The University of Southern Maine seeks applicants for temporary Athletic Trainers for our Summer Sports Camps on the Gorham Campus.

Core Duties:

  • Maintain open and closure of athletic facilities through summer camp sessions.
  • Ensure proper inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Track daily injury/treatment records
  • Be available to campers and parents/guardians during check in and check out to discuss any questions and/or concerns.
  • Ensure site coverage during camp sessions. 

Summer Camps begin June 20, 2022 and runs through August 4, 2022.  Camp hours are Monday – Thursday, 9AM – 4PM.  Some additional hours may be required for pre-camp meetings and post-camp wrap up. 

Compensation: $25.00/hour

  • Current License as Athletic Trainer in Maine
  • Supervisory experience with Athletic Training personnel and athletic training students
  • Good communication skills in writing and orally
  • Outgoing and compassionate characteristics
  • Enthusiastic and a team player
  • Good problem solver
