The Cutler Institute at the University of Southern Maine (USM) is pleased to announce an opening for a full-time, grant-funded Research Analyst I position.
The Research Analyst works in a team environment and independently to implement and develop research and evaluation projects funded under contracts with the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, and other agencies and funders. Specifically, under the guidance of a Research Associate or Project Director, the Research Analyst is responsible for supporting and conducting research and data analyses using primary qualitative and quantitative data. The Research Analyst assists with the development and implementation of data collection protocols and surveys, develops, and facilitates design of databases and use of database management systems, including computer assisted qualitative data analysis tools and contributing to discussions with client agencies and their stakeholders.
Responsibilities may also include coordination of project activities among team members and partners, facilitating communication with external stakeholders, and preparing project reports and presentations for dissemination of project results.
This position is soft-money (grant) funded and subject to continued funding by grantors.

This is a full-time position with a starting annual salary up to $43,000 commensurate with experience. This position is located on our Portland Campus.
