Are you a dedicated Occupational Therapy professional with an interest in directing growth and development of a community clinic? The University of Southern Maine’s Occupational Therapy Program on the Lewiston/Auburn Campus has an exciting opportunity to connect student and the community. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our students, our faculty, and our administrative team to ensure efficient delivery of services to our students; and to create and sustain a positive student, faculty, and staff experience.

The successful individual will provide direct service to clients as well as counsel in the delivery and management of USM’s Lewiston/Auburn community clinic. This position is responsible for supervising occupational therapy students in the clinic, and coordinates inter/intra disciplinary service.  In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external individuals and teams to support our Occupational Therapy Program mission to advance the health and well-being of the community through the education of compassionate and competent OT practitioners.

The University of Southern Maine’s Occupation Therapy Program takes an integrative and holistic approach in educating students to become Occupational Therapists.  Graduates of this program will be prepared to succeed in the health and community care contexts as ethical, socially responsible, life-long learners.  Learn more about USM’s Occupational Therapy Program here. 

This is an 11-month full-time position with the month of August off.  This position will pay an annual salary up to $56,000 commensurate with experience and is located on our Lewiston Auburn Campus.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program or comparable international degree.
  • Must be a registered and licensed Maine Occupational Therapy Practitioner.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of, and competence in, occupational therapy evaluation and evidence-based interventions with a broad spectrum of populations and conditions.
