The University of Southern Maine is searching for an individual to join our Facilities Management team as a Facilities Maintenance Worker CL2. Directly working on and maintaining athletic grounds and playing surfaces, this position is primarily assigned to our Gorham Campus athletic facilities. This is a full time regular position that is core to USM’s ability to deliver an exceptional and affordable educational experience to students in Maine and across the country; AND an opportunity for you to advance your education with our tuition waiver program!

The primary work schedule will be based on the seasonal demands of our athletic facilities. There will be times when nights and weekends are required for Ice Arena maintenance and coverage.

The Facilities Maintenance Worker coordinates and participates in routine work assignments which may include general field and playing surface maintenance and/or equipment upkeep and repair. This position will be assigned to athletic playing surfaces primarily on the Gorham campus for event coverage, projects, and facility maintenance. This position will be part of a strong and cohesive team that supports the University’s student focused every day mission.
